Owen Brooks

Owen Brooks looks after the people who invest in Northwood's funds: university endowments, foundations, pension funds and a small group of families who have backed the firm since Fund I. He joined in 2019 and has worked on the raises for Fund IV and Fund V.

Owen spent nine years covering pension and endowment clients at an asset manager in New York. At Northwood he runs fundraising, the annual investor meeting and the steady flow of questions in between. He tries to tell investors about difficult news before they hear it anywhere else, and he answers every email within a working day, a habit the rest of the firm has slowly adopted.

Owen follows minor-league baseball and has been to twenty-two ballparks, keeping a scorecard from each.
